Terms of Service

1. Operator

These Terms govern the RentJuice power-bank rental service operated by Individual entrepreneur Aleksei Popov (identification code 155788830), address: Georgia, Batumi, Giorgi Leonidze street N 4e, building N2, floor 6, apartment N75.

2. Service

RentJuice lets you rent a portable power bank from an automated station by scanning a QR code and authorizing a payment hold.

Prices are shown and charged in Georgian lari (GEL). At the start of a rental we authorize a 40 ₾ deposit on the card. This deposit is security against loss, damage, or non-return of the power bank — not an extra fee on top of the tariff.

The final charge is only the rental fee for time used, according to the published tariff, and cannot exceed the 40 ₾ deposit. Unused deposit is released when you return the power bank. If it is lost, damaged, or not returned, we may capture the full deposit.

Tariff (GEL, Tbilisi local time): first 5 minutes free; 1st hour 2 ₾; 2nd hour 2 ₾; remainder of that calendar day 3 ₾ (once); each following calendar day 4 ₾.

3. Delivery / handover policy

There is no courier delivery of goods. The power bank is issued from the station slot immediately after a successful payment authorization (hold).

You must pick up the power bank from the indicated slot at the same station. If ejection fails, the hold is released and no rental is started.

Return the power bank to any compatible RentJuice station. After return, we capture the amount due (not more than the hold) and release any unused hold balance.

4. Refund & cancellation policy

If the station does not issue a power bank after authorization, the hold is voided and you are not charged.

If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate capture, technical error), contact us within 14 days at the email or phone above. Eligible amounts are refunded to the same payment method after verification.

Normal rental fees for time used are not refundable after a successful rental, except where required by Georgian law.

Lost, damaged, or unreturned power banks may result in capturing the full hold and/or additional claims up to the replacement cost.

5. Payments

Georgian Visa / Mastercard payments are processed by Flitt in GEL. International cards can be paid via PayPal in EUR (the GEL tariff is converted at a fixed rate).

By starting a rental you authorize a pre-authorization (hold) and a later capture of the rental fee.

If you have a verified RentJuice account, you may ask us to save a Flitt payment token (rectoken) for later Visa/Mastercard holds. We never store the full card number or CVV. You can remove a saved card in your account at any time. Guest rental without an account remains available.

6. Accounts (optional)

An account is optional. You may rent as a guest.

Registration uses email and password. Name is optional. We send a confirmation link; you must verify the email before signing in. Password-reset links expire after one hour; confirmation links expire after 24 hours.

After you sign in, we keep an httpOnly session cookie (rj_user) for up to 30 days on that browser so you do not have to log in for every rental.

From the account you may bind a Visa/Mastercard without starting a rental: we place a small reversible hold (0.10 ₾) and keep only a Flitt payment token (rectoken) for later rentals or other charges you confirm. You can remove the card in the account at any time.

7. Acceptable use

Use the power bank only for charging personal devices. Do not damage stations or batteries, or attempt to open, modify, or resell them.

You are responsible for the power bank until it is successfully returned to a station.

8. Liability

The service is provided as available. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of data on your devices, or downtime of a particular station, except as required by mandatory law.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under Georgian law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version published on this website applies to rentals started after the update date.
